Clinical Psychologist
Leslie is a HCPC registered and BPS chartered Clinical Psychologist at Sysi. With over 20 years of experience in mental health, she has extensive expertise across both the NHS and private sector. Within the NHS, Leslie has provided care in diverse settings including community and inpatient adult services, as well as within medical environments such as Major Trauma and ICU.
Leslie employs an empathetic, compassionate, and non-judgemental integrative approach, tailoring formulation and treatment to meet the specific needs of each individual client. She has undergone training in numerous therapeutic approaches, including Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Schema Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, mindfulness-based interventions, and more.
Specialising in adult mental health, trauma, neuropsychology, and health psychology, Leslie has vast experience assisting clients with a range of issues including depression, anxiety, panic attacks, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), fatigue, chronic pain, as well as trauma, adjustment, and loss.
Leslie has a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from University College London.
